First, why are we selling “By Owner” instead of “By Agent”? First, we know this place better than anyone else. Second, both my wife and my son have been licensed as “real estate agents” in the USA and know very well how to assist potential buyers. Finally, neither you nor I will have to pay an extra 6% to 9% (real estate commission) on top of the fair price of the house. If you feel more comfortable by paying this extra amount, I can suggest many fine agents who will be happy to charge you this fee directly.
Second, why are we selling at all, if this is such a great property? If it were only up to my preference, I would never sell. I have owned this special place for over 33 years and have enjoyed it continuously during all this time. Over the years, this place has kept on improving and becoming more attractive inside and out. I wish I could say the same about myself. At age 77, I am afraid my pioneer days are over, and I must face the reality that I should narrow my range of activities. I do not really have to sell, but in the great scheme of things, the time has come when a new owner might find greater benefit than we do.
If you like the beach (Seven Mile Beach is world renowned), we are only a few hundred feet away from its center with its crystal clear waters, miles of white sand, and five-star hotels. It is an awesome beach that can be accessed by us and everybody else (the sunbathers and the children, sports people, speedboats and dogs). Running parallel to the shore line of the beach is West Bay Road, a major traffic artery for vehicles of all types and sizes (including very big and somewhat noisy trucks). Between the shore line and the road are some truly expensive properties (costing millions instead of thousands of dollars).
The more you learn about 7 Lime Tree Bay, the more you will like it.
The asking price is reduced from $500,000 US to $399,000 US.

Also very close by is the elegant Governor Square Shopping Center with its fine restaurants, upscale boutiques and a large COSTCO like (COST-U-LESS) store carrying brand name merchandise at substantially lower prices than typical retail. Also nearby are Saint Mathews University Medical School and the Regatta Office Business Complex serving numerous National and International Corporations.”
